The modern history of ZŘUD Masokombinát Písek CZ a. s. started in 1993. by privatization and inclusion in the ZŘUD Group. Thus we rank among the biggest meat processors in the Czech Republic. However, butchery and smoked meat production dates back to the past centuries.
Fresh meat (pork and beef) is a part of our basic offer. Its freshness is guaranteed by slaughter itself, producing beef, veal, pork, lamb and mutton meat. Its quality starts with purchase of the animals when the main suppliers are southern-Bohemian farms. Then the quality is kept both by the state-of-the-art technology of slaughter and processing as well as packing (protective atmosphere or vacuum). Processing and the degree of production depend on the clients' requirements.
We offer complete assortment of meat products. The original Písek ferments became popular (Písečan, Orlík, Otava sausage, etc.) It is not only thanks to the high contents of probiotic cultures but also thanks to the unique taste experience.
